In 2018, NACCHO received a grant for its marketing/communications team for a new project, “Strengthening Public Health Systems and Services through National Partnerships to Improve and Protect the Nation’s Health.” This grant, from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the amount of $200,000, was designed for NACCHO and a partner to continue their work in analyzing the current public health communications landscape, and developing tools and products to enhance local public health department capacity.
In designing the webinars for Year Two of the project in 2019, NACCHO staff and its partner NPHIC considered and selected topics that they felt would have resonance with the communications audience by addressing topics they felt were vital additions to their training and learning needs. While the webinar recordings are no longer available online, we hope the slides from these presentations will continue to be of value:
