Roadmap to Ready

Roadmap to Ready is a training and mentoring program designed to help new preparedness coordinators at local health departments navigate the complex landscape of public health preparedness. The goal of the program is to provide participants with the knowledge, skills, connections, and resources they need to successfully lead and coordinate public health disaster/emergency preparedness planning and response activities in their local jurisdictions.

The program uses a blended learning methodology, including an in-person workshop, coaching and mentorship from experienced preparedness coordinators from around the country, and tailored resources. NACCHO designed the program for preparedness coordinators at local health departments who have been in their roles for less than two years.
