Physical Activity and Healthy Eating
Physical activity and healthy eating is vital to improving the health of people of all ages. Regular physical activity and healthy eating lowers the risk for all-cause mortality, heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and hypertension. NACCHO collaborates with national, federal, state and local organizations to provide local health departments with the resources they need to support the health of their community, including promoting healthy behavior and policies that support them.
