Through a Virtual Learning Collaborative, local health departments identified strategies to strengthen their capacity to prioritize Maternal and Child Health populations in emergency preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation activities.
NACCHO, with support from CDC’s Division of Reproductive Health, launched a project to increase collaboration between maternal child health and emergency preparedness response programs within local health departments with the goal of improving the lives of pregnant people, new parents, and their infants.
