NACCHO is offering a funding opportunity for a consultant(s) to lead the development and administration of a series of assessments to better understand the needs and practices of local health departments related to recruitment and retention.
NACCHO is seeking applications for two paid graduate-level fellowships to work as a part of the Health and Disability Project. This paid fellowship will start approximately October 2023 and run through July 31, 2024.
Speakers will discuss challenges that local health departments have been experiencing, including employee retention, workforce burnout, and how these issues were exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic
