With support from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, NACCHO is seeking local health department staff to provide feedback and input on the development of a data to action pathway for the intersection of adverse and positive childhood experiences (ACEs/PCEs), substance use disorder (SUD), and overdose via a 90-minute, participatory design workshop facilitated by Kahuina Consulting, LLC in May 2024. Each participating local health department will receive at least one scholarship for a livestream, virtual NACCHO 360 registration.
NACCHO is seeking a group of participants from
LHDs with a wide range of experience or interest in prevention at this
intersection. NACCHO welcomes applicants from LHDs without active prevention programming
at this intersection and those with existing programming/intersection-related initiatives.
Demonstrated capacity and extensive experience are not selection criteria for participation. Please see the Intersectional
Data Pathway Info Sheet for more details about this opportunity, including further
details about eligibility and participant expectations.
To be considered for the workshop,
please complete the Interest
Form by April 19, 2024. NACCHO and Kahuina will select participants
that represent diversity in
experience, location, and LHD size. Participants will be informed of their selection by April 29, 2024.
